Rosary Prayer to Quan Yin
Quan Yin may be the most revered goddess in the Buddhist world. She is a Bodhisattva, an Enlightened One, who refused to enter the divine realms and vowed to stay in the earthly realms until all living beings attain enlightenment. For that ultimate compassion, Quan Yin is revered. She is often depicted carrying a rosary of pearls, known as the Pearls of Illumination, and shown pouring a stream of healing water, the Water of Life.
This is based on a rosary bearing a pendant with her figure, and sets of 6 beads separated by one larger bead.
Holding her medallion:
Lady of mercy and compassion, hear my call to thee. I beg you to take my problem and give me aid. [Speak of your request, either aloud or in your heart.]
Use the three centering beads for a few moments of deep breathing and centering, remembering that you speak to a gentle, simple Goddess who will lovingly hear your prayer.
The Circlet: Keep your intention of need fixed in your mind as you offer these Quan Yin may be the most revered goddess in the Buddhist world. She is a prayers. Think of each stanza as singing praises, praise that connect you with the Divine.
