Moon Goddess Circlet
I wrote this for a friend on Mystic Rosary, a Yahoo discussion group that focuses on all aspects of prayer beads. She made a rosary with bead groups using the colors of the elements, spaced by moonstone beads, with a Goddess charm as a focal point.
Elemental beads:
I am as one with the elements.
I am earth,
I am air,
I am fire,
I am water.
May the Lady's energy and sacred grace ground me as earth,
inspire me as air, consume me as fire,
and flow through me as water.
Moon beads:
White silver for the maiden,
full of budding promise,
alive with the verdant energy of spring.
Blue gray shadows for the mother,
grounded and nurturing,
bringing forth new life and shaping hearth.
Black midnight for the crone,
sage and tranquil, teaching me life's wisdom,
and wrapping me in her velvet cloak to take me home.
As I walk my spiritual path, may I become a shining symbol as the moon.
Goddess:
You are the cauldron of wisdom, from which inspiration flows.
You are the broad earth, which gives birth to all life.
You are the circling moon, ruler of tides and women.
You are the endless night sky, filled with numberless stars.
You are a grove of birch trees, shining in the forest deeps.
You are my Mother and I look to you in wonder and in awe.
